About Me

We all like to have a sense of who we're working with, so let me take a moment to share a little about myself. My name is Laura Miller, and I believe that trust is the foundation of every successful business relationship. Whether I'm helping you find your dream home or guiding you through the selling process, my goal is to ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way. I’m passionate about building lasting relationships with my clients, and I strive to make every experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Outside of work, I enjoy being active in my community and staying connected with the people around me.

When I am not working there are a few places you may find me. The arena, the farm or with friends and family.

The Arena
Barrel racing and the arena are true passions of mine, and they've been a significant part of my life for many years. I have five horses, each with their own personality and story. Some are farm-raised from my own mares, carefully bred and raised right here on the property, while others have joined our family over time through various avenues. Horses have always been more than just a hobby—they are a healthy obsession that brings joy, balance, and a sense of connection to the land. There’s something special about the bond you create with them, and I enjoy the process of getting to know each horse, understanding their unique traits, and seeing them develop.
Raising my own horses has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Watching them grow, develop their skills, and eventually become strong, confident animals is something I cherish. It’s a continuous learning experience, and I take great pride in the animals I’ve raised.
Beyond the farm, my family and I also use our horses for sport, and it’s something we truly enjoy together. Alongside our trusted partners in crime (our horses), we compete in local jackpots, where we test our skills and challenge ourselves in friendly competition. During the summer months, you’ll often find us riding around town or exploring the trails. The freedom and joy we experience together is unmatched, and it’s a great way for us to stay active and connected as a family.
In addition to our personal riding, I’ve had the privilege of hosting a local barrel racing series at Beaver Meadow Arena, a venue that holds a special place in my heart. This event has been such a fun and fulfilling project to be a part of, and it’s been incredible to watch friends, family, and fellow competitors come together to share in the excitement. There’s something about the energy of the arena, the thrill of the competition, and the camaraderie of everyone involved that makes this event truly memorable. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, support one another, and create lasting memories.
No matter where my day takes me, whether I’m working, competing, or spending time with loved ones, the farm is always where I return. It’s the heart of everything I do and a place that brings me peace and fulfillment.

The Farm
The farm truly feels like an extension of myself. It’s a place where I can connect with nature and spend my days raising cattle and horses, managing ducks and chickens, and always staying busy with the endless tasks that come with farm life. There’s something grounding about working with animals and the land, and it really does keep a person out of trouble! It’s a lifestyle that brings fulfillment and a sense of purpose every day.
Along with the livestock, I also have two dogs that play a vital role on the farm. Zoey, our Great Pyrenees and whiskey our border collie. Zoey is  our livestock guardian, she takes her job very seriously, ensuring the safety of all our animals when we’re away from home. Then there’s Whiskey, he’s a real character! Whiskey has an abundance of personality, always keeping us on our toes with his antics. He’s definitely the mischievous one, but he’s also incredibly smart and loyal. Together, Zoey and Whiskey are more than just pets; they’re like two additional children in our family, and we love them as such.
In addition to our four-legged companions, I’m blessed with a large and close-knit family. With six children and two grandchildren, our home is always full of life and energy. Keeping up with everyone’s schedules and activities keeps me busy, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Holidays are always a highlight of the year, and with such a big family, it’s a joy to see everyone come together. The laughter, love, and shared memories make these moments truly special.

The Holidays
My favorite holidays of the year have to be Christmas and Easter. These are the two holidays that brings my family to one place. We get to catch up, visit and tell stories. Hearing how my family is doing is all I need for the holiday season. These relationships mean the world to me. I have always enjoyed building new and improving existing relationships with friends and family. This is one of the many reasons I chose to become a realtor.
